Pool buildings adjacent Listed House

Work: Pool and Poolhouse building adjacent listed farmhouse
Location: Kent Countryside
Architecture: Traditional

Planning consent was obtained by RBA for the replacement of existing outbuildings and stables adjacent to a Grade II listed farmhouse with a large 12m pool and poolhouse complex.

The buildings were designed as traditional Kent barns wrapping around the pool on two sides and contain a small 1 bedroom cottage, open vaulted kitchen, pool house with showers and a garage/store. The poolhouse and kitchen benefit from wonderful views down the valley via a fully glazed oak gable. The garage has been given special openings for swallows to enter and leave.
